So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Abstract:

Abstract:

The failure to take into account capital costs in the calculations of traditional financial performance standards can lead to the making of wrong financial decisions. In order to eliminate this type of errors, the "Economic Added Value" (EVA) has begun to be used, which is measured according to the elements of financial performance, net after-tax activity profit and the asset investments needed to obtain this profit and the investment cost made to these assets (heavy average capital cost). This study compared the values of the "Net Profit" and "EVA" that will reveal the real face of net profits of the banks that are traded in BIST. Thus, the real success criteria of these banks are presented by comparing EVA & Period Net Profit and Self-Source Profit & EVA/Self-Source.
