Abstract:

Orhan Pamuk who is known with his postmodern novels in modern Turkish literature, used many metafiction techniques in Beyaz Kale and the postermodern novels he wrote afterwards. In our writing we will identify a metafiction technique, which becomes like Orhan Pamuk`s sign, characters introduce themselves as the author of the novel in the novel that factual reader reads. This conspicuous paradox which Orhan Pamuk creates by confiding his authorship both become
