Abstract:

Bu çalışmada, Okul öncesi dönem işitme engelli çocuklara müzik eğitimi verilmiş ve bu eğitimin çocukların bedensel, özgüven, sosyal ve zihinsel gelişimlerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Yapılan 18 haftalık eğitimin ardından çocuklardaki gelişim incelenmiştir. Çocuğun bedensel, özgüven, sosyal ve zihinsel alanlarındaki gelişimleri müziksel ögelerle desteklenmiş, temel eğitime daha hazır hale gelmeleri amaçlanarak bir eğitim programı uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada öntest - sontest kontrol gruplu deneysel bir araştırma modeli uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca uygulanan anket çalışması ile demografik faktörler de incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda, çocukların bedensel,sosyal ve zihinsel gelişimlerinde deney ve kontrol gruplarında paralel bir gelişim süreci izlenirken, özgüven gelişimi konusunda deney grubundaki öğrencilerden anlamlı derecede yüksek sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Abstract:

In this study, hearing-impaired pre-school children who have taken music education were invesitgated if they had physical, self-esteem, social and mental development. The development of children was examined since18 weeks of training. The children's physical, self-esteem, social and mental development were supported by musical elements, an education program was implemented which aimed to get them ready for the primary education programme. In this research : experimental (pretest - posttest control group) model was applied. In addition, a survey related with demographic factors was applied too. As the result of the study, it was found that children's physical, social and mental development had a parallel development between the experimental and control groups. But it was obatained that self-reliant development of the students in the experimental group who had music education was significantly had higher results.
