Eğitim bilimleri alanlarında ortaya konulmuş akademik çalışmaların genel durumu hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak, araştırmacıların çalışmalarına yön vermesi bakımından oldukça önemlidir. Bu noktadan hareketle araştırmanın amacı, 2009-2013 yılları arasında Türkiye'de gerçekleştirilmiş karar verme stillerini konu alan yüksek lisans tezlerini incelenmek ve bu bulgular doğrultusunda bazı öneriler sunmaktır. Çalışma, yüksek lisans tezlerinin incelenmesine yönelik doküman analizine dayalı nitel bir araştırmadır Araştırmanın örneklemini, karar verme stilleri konusunda yapılmış 27 yüksek lisans tezinden oluşmaktadır. Yüksek öğretim kurumu veritabanına girilerek tezlere ulaşılmıştır. Tezler şu sorular üzerinden incelenmiştir: üzerinde çalışılan konular nelerdir, tezlerin örnekleminde hangi öğretim kademeleri tercih edilmiştir, hangi modeller/desenler ve yöntemler kullanılmıştır, örneklem/çalışma grubu seçimi nasıl belirlenmiştir, , hangi veri toplama araçları kullanılmıştır ve toplanan veriler hangi veri analiz teknikleriyle analiz edilmiştir? Elde edilen bulguların frekans ve yüzdeleri hesaplanarak çizelgeler halinde sunulmuştur. İncelemeler sonucunda şu bulgulara ulaşılmıştır: Yüksek lisans tezlerinin büyük bir kısmında tarama yönteminin kullanıldığı ve ilköğretim kademesi ve meslek gruplarının tercih edildiği görülmektedir. Çalışmaların çoğunluğunun deneysel çalışmalar olduğu, tesadüfi örneklem seçiminin en çok tercih edilen örnekleme yöntemi olduğu, en çok ilişkisel tarama modelinin kullanıldığı, veri toplama araçlarından en çok ölçek ve anketlerin kullanıldığı ve veri analiz tekniklerinden de t testi ve tek yönlü ANOVA yönteminin kullanıldığı bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu bulgulara dayalı olarak bazı öneriler sunulmuştur.

Academic studies done on educational sciences which to be knowledgeable about the academic studies that have benn demonstrated is very important in order to give direction to the researches. From this point on the purpose of this study is to review and examine the master thesis decision making style in Turkey between the years of 2009 and 2013 and some suggestions are presented based on findings. The study is a qualitative study based on document analysis and analyzes the master thesis according to their methodologies. The sample group of study consisted of 27 master thesis that were written on the decision making style. The thesis were collected from database of the Council of the Higher Education data base web site. The main questions concerned are which topics are studied, which school levels are preferred in the study group, which research models/desingns and methods are used, how is the sample/study group is the data collection instruments are used and which data analyis techniques are used. Findings obtained by calculating frequencies and percentages presented in table form. Based on the rewiev observed that a large part of master thesis uses the survey method and elementary school level and occupational groups is the most preferred. Most of studies were experimental studies, the most preferred simple random sampling in the most preferred sampling method, scale and survey data collecting instrument is the most preferred one, and the analysis techniques used mainly are t test and one way ANOVA. Some suggestions are presented based on the findings.
