Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to study the theses on the subject of "creative thinking" in the field of education through the method of document analysis. In the framework of the research; a total of 268 theses recorded in the database of the YÖK National Thesis Center, which was carried out by 2019, were analyzed. It is determined by the method of sample. Analysis of the defined theses is applied. As a result, it has been determined that the majority of the master's theses in critical thinking, the more experimental and scan research methods are preferred in quantitative studies. The theses found that examples level students and data collection tools such as survey/size were more preferred. The results were found that more parametric analyses were used in the theses. The results of the dissertation indicate that critical thinking is generally at a medium and low level.

Çalışmanın amacı; eğitim alanında “eleştirel düşünme” konusu üzerine yapılmış tezlerin doküman analizi yöntemiyle incelenmesidir. Araştırma kapsamında; 2019 yılına kadar gerçekleştirilen, YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezinin veri tabanına kayıtlı toplam 268 tez analiz edilmiştir. Tezler amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen tezlere içerik analizi uygulanmıştır. Sonuç olarak eleştirel düşünme konusunda en fazla yüksek lisans tezlerinin olduğu, daha çok deneysel ve tarama araştırma yöntemlerinin tercih edildiği nicel çalışmaların yapıldığı belirlenmiştir. Tezlerde örneklem seviyesi lisans öğrencilerinin ve anket/ölçek gibi veri toplama araçlarının daha fazla tercih edildiği tespit edilmiştir. Tezlerde daha çok parametrik analizlerin kullanıldığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Tezlerde elde edilen sonuçlarda ise genel olarak eleştirel düşünmenin orta ve düşük düzeyde olduğu belirtilmiştir.
