FEN BİLGİSİ ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ SÜREKLİ KAYGI VE KENDİNİ ALDATMA DURUMLARININ İNCELENMESİ

Abstract:

Araştırmada, fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının sürekli kaygıları ve kendini aldatma durumlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem olarak tarama modellerinden iliş¬kisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırma 2016-2017 eğitim öğretim yılında Cumhuriyet Üniversitesi fen bilgisi eğitim anabilim dalında öğrenim gören 128 öğretmen adayı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak “Kendini Aldatma Ölçeği” ve “Sürekli Kaygı Envanteri” kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilere, istatistiksel tekniklerden aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, t testi ve basit doğrusal regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Bu analizler sonucunda, fen bilgisi öğretmen adaylarının kendilerini aldatma düzeylerinin orta düzeyde olduğu, benliği güçlendirici kendini aldatma alt boyutuna yönelik puanın ise ortalamanın üzerinde olduğu ve cinsiyete göre anlamlı bir farkın olmadığı, sürekli kaygılarının yüksek olduğu ve cinsiyete göre kızlar lehine anlamlı bir farkın olduğu, öğretmen adaylarının kendini aldatma durumlarının %52’sinin ise sürekli kaygıdan kaynaklandığı sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract:

In the study, science knowledge is aimed at studying the continuous concerns of the teachers candidates and the situations of self-fraud. As a method, the scanning model is used. The research was conducted in the 2016-2017 educational year with 128 teachers candidates who studied in the Republic University's science knowledge educational anatomy. The data collection tool has been used as "Self-Fraud Scale" and "Continuous Worry Reserve". To the obtained data, statistical techniques used arithmetic average, standard deviation, t test and simple linear regression analysis. The results of these analyses have found that the level of self-fraud of teachers candidates is in the middle, the score of self-reforcing self-fraud is above the average and there is no meaningful difference according to gender, their constant concerns are high and a meaningful difference in the benefit of girls according to gender, and 52% of the cases of self-fraud of teachers candidates are due to constant concern.

Abstract:

Purpose of this research is to study chronic anxiety and self-deception states of science teacher candidates. Research model used is one of the screening models, namely relational screening model. The study focused on 128 teacher candidates attending to Cumhuriyet University, department of science teaching in the academic year of 2016 – 2017. Data collection tools used on this study are “Self-Deception Scale” and “Chronic Anxiety Inventory”. The following statistical techniques are used on the collected data: arithmetical average, standard deviation, t test and simple linear regression analysis. The analysis concluded that self-deception levels of science teacher candidates is midlevel; the score in sub dimension of ego boosting self-deception is above the average and there is no significant gender-related difference; they have high levels of chronic anxiety and there is significant difference favor for girls based on gender and chronic anxiety accounts for 52 % of self-deception states of teacher candidates.
