Amaç: Kıckboks sporcularının ortalama internet kullanımları ve riskli internet davranışları arasındaki ilişkiyi sosyo demografik değişkenlerle incelemektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırma evrenini; 14-22 Temmuz 2016 tarihleri arasında Sakarya’daki Türkiye Kıckboks şampiyonasına katılan (70 il, 1700 erkek ve 800 kız öğrenci) toplam 2500 sporcu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini; araştırmaya katılmak isteyen (148’i erkek 95’i bayan) toplam 243 sporcu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan bireylerin demografik dağılımlarını belirlemek için yüzde (%) ve frekans (f) ve Pearson ki-kare testi analizleri yapılmıştır. Sporculara sosyo demografik veri formu ve Young'un internet Bağımlılığı Ölçeği (iBÖ) uygulanmış olup, alınan puanlara göre internet bağımlılığının (iB), riskli internet kullanımı (RiK) ve ortalama internet kullanımı (OiK) olan sporcular sosyo demografik özellikler ve internet kullanım özellikleri yönünden istatistiksel olarak incelenmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılanların yaş ile ortalama internet kullanımı ve riskli internet kullanımı değerleri karşılaştırıldığı Tablo 2, cinsiyet ile ortalama internet kullanımı ve riskli internet kullanımı değerleri karşılaştırıldığı Tablo 3, yaşadığı evi paylaşma durumu ile ortalama internet kullanımı ve riskli internet kullanımı değerleri karşılaştırıldığı Tablo 5incelendiğinde anlamlı bir farklılık p<0,05 düzeyinde saptanmamıştır. Araştırmaya katılanların medeni durum ile ortalama internet kullanımı ve riskli internet kullanımı değerleri karşılaştırıldığı Tablo 4, Araştırmaya katılanların aylık gelir ile ortalama internet kullanımı ve riskli internet kullanımı değerleri karşılaştırıldığı Tablo 6 incelendiğinde istatiksel olarak bir farkın olduğu ve bu farkın p<0,05 düzeyinde anlamlı olduğu görülmektedir. Sonuç: Kıckboks sporcularında riskli internet kullanımı görülme sıklığının bekârlarda ve gelir seviyesi yüksek olan sporcularda, diğer değişkenlere göre daha fazla olduğu saptanmış ve riskli internet davranışları arasında anlamlı bir fark olduğu görülmüştür.
The aim is to explore the relationship between the average internet use and the risky internet behavior of the athletes with the social demographic variables. Instrument and Method: The research universe is composed of a total of 2500 athletes who participated in the Turkish Kickbox Championship in Sakarya between 14-22 July 2016 (70 years, 1700 men and 800 girls students). The sample of the study was made by a total of 243 athletes (148 men and 95 women) who wanted to participate in the study. An analysis of the percentage (%) and frequency (f) and Pearson ki-quare tests was carried out to determine the demographic distribution of the individuals involved. Athletes have been applied a social demographic data form and Young’s Internet Addiction Scale (IBE), and according to the scores received, athletes with Internet Addiction (IB), Risk Internet Use (RIK) and Medium Internet Use (OiK) have been statistically examined in terms of social demographic characteristics and internet use characteristics. Results: The study compares the age and average internet use and risk internet use values of participants Table 2, the gender and average internet use and risk internet use values of participants Table 3, the home sharing status and the average internet use and risk internet use values of participants Table 5 compares the age and risk internet use values of participants Table 2, the gender and risk internet use and risk internet use values of participants Table 3 compares the age and risk internet use values of participants Table 5 compares the age and risk internet use values of participants Table 5 compares the age and risk internet use values of participants Table 5 compares the age and risk internet use values of participants Table 5 compares the age and risk internet use values of participants Table 5 compares the age and risk internet use values of participants Table 5 compares the age and risk internet use values of participants Table 4 compares the average Internet use and risky Internet use values with the average Internet use and risky Internet use values with Table 6 compares the average Internet use and risky Internet use values with the average monthly income of the participants and the average Internet use values with the average Internet use and risky Internet use values. The result: The frequency of risky internet use in Kickboxing athletes in singles and athletes with high income levels has been found to be higher than other variables and there has been a significant difference between risky internet behaviors.
Object: The relationship between the average internet use and the risky Internet behaviours of Kick Box athletes has been surveyed by socio demographic variables. Material and Method: The survey population was constituted by 2500 athletes (70 provinces, 1700 male and 800 female students) participating in Turkey Kickboxing Championships between 14-22 July 2016 in Sakarya. The sample of the survey was constituted by 243 athletes (148 male and 95 female) willing to be part of the survey. Percent (%) and frequency (f) and Pearson Chi- square analyzes were made in order to determine the demographic distributions of the individuals participating in the study. Socio-demographic data form and Young's Internet Addiction Scale (IAS) were applied to sports. According to the scores, athletes with internet addiction (IA), risky internet use (RIU) and average internet use (AIU) were statistically analyzed in terms of socio demographic and their internet usage characteristics. Findings: As the Table 2 in which the ages of participants are compared with their average internet use and risky internet use values, and Table 3 in which the genders of the participants are compared with their average internet use and risky internet use values, and Table 5 in which the sharing homes of the participants are compared with their average internet use and risky internet use values are analyzed, a significant difference p <0.05 is not detected. As the Table 4 in which the marital statuses of the participants are compared with their average internet use and risky internet use values, and Table 6 in which monthly incomes of the participants are compared with their average internet use and risky internet use values are analyzed, it is seen that there is a statistical difference and this difference is significant at p <0.05 level. Result: It has been found that the frequency of risky internet use of kick box athletes is higher among athletes who are single and have high income level than others and it has been seen that there is a significant difference between risky internet behaviours.
