Abstract:

Abstract:

In this study, Platon’s thoughts on justice and war are analysed on the basis of the State dialogue, and a discussion is conducted on whether Platon’s language has a war theory. In this sense, it will be discussed whether Platon’s war is seen as an inevitable end of human life together. The review will be carried out in the context of the other dialogue, especially in the context of the State dialogue. The state dialogue gives us preliminary information about the theory of fair war. In the book I, Socrates discusses how a fair state should be, and explains that injustice clearly leads to war. But later, the goal is to determine the status of the guardians who are defending the city. The book begins to change. Socrates discussed the issue of war on the basis of justice and II, IV. The V. Books conclude that the war is the order of the fair city. In addition, in the dialogue, too much desire for luxury life indicates that it also drives people into war. However, Socrates discusses the topic of war in light of justice and concludes that war is the outworking of the perfectly just city throughout Books II, IV and V.
