Anregungen für das Fach ’’Vergleichende Landeskunde’’ in der Deutschlehrerausbildung an der Uludağ Universität

Heutzutage ist die Landeskunde nicht mehr aus dem Fremdsprachenunterricht auszuschließen. Die vorliegende Studie befasst sich mit dem Themenbereich Landeskunde im Rahmen des Deutschen als Fremdsprache Deutschlehrerausbildung an der Uludağ Universität. Sie beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, welchen Stellenwert die Landeskunde für die Fremdsprachenlerner in der Deutschlehrerausbildung an der Uludağ Universität hat und welche landeskundlichen Themenbereiche oder Informationen in Lehrveranstaltungen weitergegeben werden können. Wichtig dabei ist es, dass die Lehrkraft mit seiner Denkweise und Perspektive, das Landeskundliche und die Kultur in der Lehrveranstaltung so vermittelt, dass bei den Fremdsprachenlernenden keine einseitigen Eindrücke entstehen, sondern ein inhaltsreiches, anspruchsvolles und repräsentatives Bild des Landes und seiner Menschen. Den Landeskundeunterricht auf attraktive und anziehende Weise zu gestalten, ist die Aufgabe der Lehrkraft. In dieser Studie wurde versucht, mithilfe von Fragebögen festzustellen, welche Rolle die Landeskundevermittlung an der Deutschlehrerabteilung der Uludağ Universität hat. Bezüglich der Antworten der Studierenden konnte festgestellt werden, dass die Vermittlung landeskundlicher Information im gesamten Deutschlehrerstudium eine wichtige Rolle spielt. Landeskunde ist dementsprechend wichtig für die Fremdsprachenlerner der Deutschlehrerabteilung der Uludağ Universität. Landeskunde im Fremdsprachenunterricht ist damit also keine nicht umzugehende Schwierigkeit, auch andererseits eine Möglichkeit. Die Fremdsprachenlerner haben ein anschauliches Bild der nicht vertrauten Wirklichkeit vermittelt bekommen, und haben die Erfahrung gemacht, dass ohne Verbindung der Landeskunde die deutsche Sprache nur schwer zu erlernen ist.

Cultural study is a very important and indispensable part of foreign language teaching. The present study deals with the topic of cultural study in the field of German teacher training at Uludağ University. It deals with the question of which role the cultural study has in the German teacher training at Uludağ University and which cultural issues or information can be taught in the class. Often the teaching of cultural study depends on the teachers' ideas, which wants to convey cultural studies and cultural information in the classroom, so it is important, as this study also shows, to introduce cultural information and issues into the classroom in such a way that learners do not experience one-sided impressions, but a diverse, differentiated and representative image of the country and its people. Communicating cultural studies in an effective and interesting way is the task of the teacher. In this study, it was attempted to use the questionnaire survey to ascertain the significance that cultural studies have in the German teacher's studies for the learners at the Faculty of Education at Uludağ University. The questionnaires have shown that for the majority of students, cultural study is an important part of their studies, and that students perceive the importance of culture for foreign language teaching. By means of cultural study, the learners are given a vivid picture of foreign reality, and that it is difficult to learn the German language without the connection of culture. Cultural studies bring culture and its countries closer, and thus the interest in language increases. The study has shown that cultural study plays an important role in teaching German and that it can help to increase learner motivation and work effectiveness.
