Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmen Adaylarının “Darbe” Kavramına İlişkin Görüşlerinin Metafor Aracılığıyla Belirlenmesi

Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı; sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının darbe algılarını metafor yoluyla belirlemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi sosyal bilgiler öğretmenliği 4. Sınıf öğrencileri (35 kişi) ile Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi sosyal bilgiler öğretmenliği 3. Sınıf (21) ve 4. Sınıf (34) öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan 90 öğrencinin 58’i kadın, 32’si erkektir. Araştırmanın yöntemi olarak nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmaya katılan sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarından “darbe …………. gibidir; çünkü……………. cümlesini tamamlamaları istenmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Bir metafor imgesini kimin ürettiğine ilişkin kişisel bilgiler, söz konusu metafor ifadesinin hemen ardında yer alan parantez içinde kodlanmış (1. Öğrenci. Ö-1, 2. Öğrenci. Ö-2) olarak verilmiştir. Elde edilen metaforların aynı olanları gruplanmış ve numaralandırılmıştır. Bulgulara göre araştırmaya katılan 90 öğrenci toplam 65 metafor geliştirmiştir. Bu metaforlar 10 kategoride toplanmaktadır. Bu kategorilerden ilk 8’i tüm metaforların %94.52’sini temsil etmektedir. Bu kategoriler “Zarar Vermek”, “İç Karmaşa”, “Yok Etmek”, “Belirsizlik”, “Sinsice Yaklaşan Tehlike”, “Yasak ve Kısıtlamak”, “Aniden Ürkütücü”, “Kalıcı İzler Bırakan”dır. Bu kategorilerdeki darbe algısı olumsuzdur. “Değişim” kategorisinde öğretmen adayları darbenin yeni bir oluşum getireceği yönünde görüş bildirmişlerdir. Bu öğretmen adayları darbe kavramını olumlu ve olumsuz açıklamamış sadece değişiklik meydana getirebileceklerini beyan etmişlerdir. Diğer kategori olan “Rekabet” kategorisinde darbe bir öğretmen adayı tarafından yarışa benzetilmiştir. Öğretmen adayları tarafından darbe ile ilgili herhangi bir olumlu görüş ise ifade edilmemiştir

The purpose of this study is to determine the perceptions of the social information teachers' convictions through the metafor. The research study group Abant İzzet Baysal University School of Education Social Information Teaching 4. Class students (35 persons) with Star Technical University Education Faculty of Social Information Teaching 3. Classes 21 and 4. The class is composed of 34 students. Of the 90 students who participated in the study, 58 were women and 32 men. As a method of research, a visual scanning model from the quality research methods was used. Social information participating in this study from the teachers candidates "darbe ............. This is because ........................ He was asked to complete his phrase. The data obtained in the research was analyzed by the content analysis method. Personal information about who has produced a metaforic image is coded in the parantez right behind that metaforic expression (1). The student. 1 and 2. The student. It is given as 2. The same of the metaphors obtained are grouped and numbered. According to the findings, 90 students who participated in the study developed a total of 65 metaphors. These metaphors are divided into 10 categories. The first 8 of these categories represent 94.52 percent of all metaphors. These categories are "Treat", "Inner Complex", "Destroy", "Uncertainty", "Sinsically Approaching Danger", "Prohibit and Restrict", "Supernatural Horrifying", "Let Remaining Traces". The impact in these categories is negative. In the "Change" category, teachers' candidates have expressed their opinion that the blow will bring a new formation. These teachers candidates have not explained the concept of the coup positive and negative, they have declared that they could only make a change. The other category of "Concurrence" is the hit compared to the competition by a teacher candidate. No positive opinions from the teachers candidates about the coup were expressed.

The objective of the present study is to determine prospect social sciences teachers’ perceptions of coup by means of metaphor. The study group includes 4th (35) grade students from the department of social science teaching at the Educational Faculty of Abant İzzet Baysal University and 3rd (21) and 4th (34) grade students from the department of social science teaching at the Educational Faculty of Yıldız Teknik University. Of the 90 respondent students, 58 were female and 32 male. The descriptive screening model was employed as one of the qualitative research model. The study pattern The study was in phenomology pattern, which describes common meaning of experiences of a group of people. The essential purpose of phenomology is coming to a universial conclusion from individual experiences with a concept. Prospect social sciences teachers who participated in this study were asked to complete the sentence of “coup is like …………. because…………….”Acquired data in this study was analyzed by means of the content analysis method. Personal information regarding the creator of the metaphor image was coded next to the metaphor expression. The same ones of the obtained metaphors were grouped and numbered. Based on the findings, 90 participant students developed totally 65 metaphors. Moreover, 48 metaphors were developed by a single student. These metaphors were cathegorized in 10 groups. The first 8 of these categories were representing 94.52%. These categories were “Hurting”, “İnternal Mess”, “destroying”, “Uncertainity”, “Sneaky Danger”, “Prohibition and Limit”, “Suddenly Crepy”, “Leaving Persistent Track”. Prospect social sciences teachers’ perception of coup was negative. In the “Change” category, prospect teachers stated their opinions as that coup would bring a new formation. These prospect teachers were not explained coup concept as positive or negative; rather only stated that they could create change. In the other category of “Competition”, coup was associated with a Competition by a prospect teacher. No any positive opinion was stated about coup by the prospect teachers.
