Bu çalışmada Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Bölümü Sınıf Öğretmenliği Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı programlarındaki seçmeli derslerin incelenmesi, havuzdaki derslerin çeşitliliği ve bu derslerin çağdaş ve ideal sınıf öğretmeni yetiştirmedeki katkıları konu edilmiştir. Bu minvalde 60 civarında (58) üniversitenin güncel ders bilgi paketlerine ulaşılmış ve toplanan verilerden üniversitelerin öğretmen adaylarına sunduğu seçmeli dersler belirlenmiştir. Nitel yöntem kullanılarak hazırlanmaya çalışılan makalede, doküman analizi deseninden yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler değerlendirildiğinde 58 üniversite arasında 16 üniversitede Program Geliştirme, İnsan Hakları ve Demokrasi dersleri %27,58 oranıyla en çok okutulan dersler olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Kuşkusuz seçmeli derslerin öğretmenlerin kişisel ve mesleki gelişimlerine katkı sağlaması gereklidir. Seçmeli derslerin her alana hitap edecek sayıda ve seviyede olması, kendi içinde yeterli bilgi ve birikimi barındırması da önemlidir. İncelenen programlarda öğretmen adaylarına okutulan seçmeli ders çeşitliliğinin fazla olmaması dikkat çekicidir. Sınıf öğretmenliği programında yer alan seçmeli derslerin daha güncel, her alana hitap edecek şekilde geliştirilerek sunulması öğretmen adayları ve eğitim-öğretim kalitesi bakımından olumlu olacaktır. Ayrıca seçmeli ders sayısının artırılması ve çeşitlendirilmesi kadar öğretmen adaylarının merak ve ilgilerine uygun olması da önemlidir. Bunun sağlanmasının en etkili yollarından biri üniversiteler kapsamında, içinde öğretmen adaylarının da olduğu komisyonlar kurulabilir. Bunun yanı sıra derslerin öğretim elemanına göre değil de öğretmen adaylarının istek ve ihtiyaçlarına göre programlarda yer almasına özen gösterilebilir.
This study discussed the study of selectives in the classes of the Faculty of Education Primary Education Department of Class Teaching Education Anabolic Department programmes, the diversity of courses in the pool and the contribution of these courses to the training of the contemporary and ideal class teacher. In this minval about 60 (58) universities have reached the current curriculum information packages and from the collected data, selectively courses offered by universities to teachers candidates have been determined. In the article attempted to prepare using the quality method, the document analysis pattern was used. According to the study, from 58 universities to 16 universities, program development, human rights and democracy courses are the most studied courses with a rate of 27,58%. There is no doubt that selective courses are necessary to contribute to the personal and professional development of teachers. It is also important that the selective courses are in the number and level that will address each field, and that they have sufficient knowledge and accumulation in themselves. It is remarkable that in the reviewed programs the selection of courses taught to the teachers candidates is not too much. The presentation of the selective courses included in the classroom teaching program will be more up-to-date and developed in a way that will address each field and will be positive in terms of the teacher candidates and the quality of education and teaching.
