Abstract:

Osmanlı dönemi Türk edebiyatında I. Selim ve II. Selim dönemlerini anlatan manzum ve mensur eserler yazılmıştır. Bu eserlerin bazıları padişahın doğumundan ölümüne kadarki dönemi anlatırken bazıları da hayatının belli bir dönemini anlatmakla yetinmişlerdir. Tarihî ve kültürel değerleri yanında Bitlisli Şükrî’ninki gibi dil bakımından önemli olan Selimnameler de vardır. Bu çalışmada, Selimnameler Türkçe, Arapça ve Farsça olmalarına göre tasnif edilecek, muhtevalarıyla üzerinde yapılan çalışmalar verilecektir.
