Abstract:

This study was developed to investigate the relationship between collective leadership and team performance within the coordinated work system available in hospitals and to study the role of intermediate self in that relationship. The study was conducted by 590 health workers from different branches by random sampling in Konya province. The team performance measurement from Hoevemeyer (1993) and the collective leadership measurement from Kashima and Hardie's Relational-Individual-Community Identity measurement, Hiller, Day and Vance (2006). The data received from the research was transferred to the IBM SPSS20.0 package program. The Cronbach Alpha Screenshot has been used for reliability analysis. The study examined the validity of scales by conducting verifying factor analysis using the LISREL program. For the study of the scale dimensions and the relationship between scales, correlation analysis and path analysis (path) with Lisrel and the structural equality model have been tested hypotheses. The study found a meaningful relationship between the collective leadership understanding of healthcare workers and team performance. It is also concluded that self is a partial mediation role in the relationship between collective leadership and team performance. When the literature is studied, there are studies that can support this situation.
