Bir yerleşim yerinin sosyal, çevresel ve ekonomik açıdan gelişebilmesinin en önemli unsurlarından birisi olan Turizm, yerleşim yerinde sürekli olarak ikamet eden halkın turizme yaklaşımından önemli ölçüde etkilenmektedir. Bu çalışmada turizmin çevresel, ekonomik ve sosyal etkilerinin, yerel halk üzerinde bıraktığı olumlu ve olumsuz yönleri üzerindeki etkileri ele alınmıştır. Veri toplama işlemi Bursa Mustafakemalpaşa da ikamet eden yerel halka yönelik olarak yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın temel amacı, turizm yönü henüz gelişmemiş ancak gelişime açık olan Mustafakemalpaşa’da yaşayan halkın turizmin çevresel, ekonomik ve sosyal etkilerin den nasıl etkilendiklerini ortaya koymak olmuştur. Yapılan analizler sonrasında, çalışmaya katılan halkın %65,5 nin” turizm yöreye yatırım yapılmasını teşvik eder” olumlu görüşünü ve %33,5 inin ise “turizm ilçede birçok mal hizmet fiyatını artırır” yönündeki olumsuz görüşü desteklediği ortaya çıkmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre; turizmin olumlu etkilerinin en fazla turizmin ekonomik etkisinden, olumsuz etkilerinin ise en fazla turizmin sosyal etkisinden etkilendiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
Tourism, one of the most important elements of a settlement’s social, environmental and economic development, is significantly influenced by the tourism approach of the people who permanently reside in the settlement. This study discussed the environmental, economic and social impacts of tourism on the positive and negative aspects it leaves on the local people. The data collection process was also done to the local people who reside in Bursa Mustafakemalpaşa. The main objective of the study was to show how tourism has been influenced by the environmental, economic and social impacts of the people living in Mustafakemalpaşa, which has not yet developed but is open to development. Following the analyses, it was revealed that 65.5% of the people involved in the study supported the positive view of "to encourage tourism to invest in the site" and 33.5% supported the negative view of "to increase the price of many goods and services in the district". According to the findings obtained, the positive effects of tourism are most affected by the economic effects of tourism, and the negative effects are most affected by the social effects of tourism.
