Abstract:

Because of the characteristics that the cinema has, it keeps the audience in its own magical world for a long time. While influenced by the characteristics and structure of the society in which it is, it attracts the attention of the society on various issues with its subjects and messages. In addition, it causes the viewers to travel in the fantasy world, even if shortly, away from real life. Films are influenced by political developments in addition to social issues. Because of these characteristics, the cinema is not only addressed to film lovers, but also to people working in different fields of social sciences. There are different types of analysis and analysis methods used in research in social sciences. Some of these techniques develop in the perspective of indication, ideology, psychoanalysis, feminism, conviction and speech. However, these methods are widely used in both quality and quantitative research. The methods of analysis and analysis where quality and quantitative research is focused are used in the evaluation of data from different fields such as cinema, social media, press, advertising. This work was designed to review the film "Get Out", which has been influential in the film industry and has been awarded the 2017 Best Screenplay Award. In this framework, the Get Out film is reviewed with different types of analysis and analysis methods. The film, which is the subject of the research, is indicated and evaluated by language, ideology, psychoanalytic, feminist, convincing, retorical, content, speech analysis and methods. In the film, the research analytics headlines and statements are made in accordance with the description. These scenes are transmitted in the form of tables in which the codes and themes are presented.
