Çeviri etkinliğinin yoğun bir şekilde yaşandığı lisans programlarında hazırlık sınıflarının varlığı eğitimciler tarafından tartışılan konulardan olmuştur. Dilin bir dizge olarak düşünülmesinden öte bir iletişim aracı olması ve dil kullanımına çeviri eylemi boyunca ihtiyaç duyulması hazırlık sınıflarına olan değeri arttırmaktadır. Çeviribilim lisans programları hem yazılı hem de sözlü çeviri yeti ve yeteneklerini öğrenmeyi gerektiren geniş kapsamlı bölümlerdir. Bu nedenle yabancı dili öğrenmek ve yoğun dil alıştırmalarıyla onu tecrübe etmek bu bölümlerin başarısının temelinde yatmaktadır. Öğrencilerimiz Türkiye’de eğitim gören ve yabancı dillerle gerekli bağlantıyı kuracak ders saatlerine sahip olmayan bireylerdir. Tüm bu olumsuz koşullar hazırlık sınıflarının ilk basamak olarak gerekli ve önemli bir aşama olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu amaçla çalışmanın çerçevesi akademik çeviri eğitimi ve hazırlık sınıfları merkezinde oluşturulmuştur. Hazırlık sınıflarının dil öğrenimi ve lisans programlarına uyum sağlamak maksadıyla bir ihtiyaç olduğu gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. Öğrencilerin gelecekteki mesleki kazanımlarını arttırmak ve mesleki standartlarını yükseltmek kaliteli bir ön eğitim verilecek hazırlık sınıflarının varlığıyla söz konusu olabilir. Burada nitel verilerin deney ve gözlem yoluyla sınandığı ve nicel sonuçların elde edildiği bir çalışma yapılmıştır. Çalışmada Rubrik ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin çeviri eğitimleri boyunca edinmeleri gereken yeti ve beceriler dikkate alınarak ölçek kriterleri belirlenmiş ve puanlama sistemi yapılmıştır. Çevirmenlik mesleği düşünülerek belirlenen kriterlerin uygun olduğu düşünülmektedir. Uygulanan testler sonucunda sayısal olarak öğrencilerin başarı durumları ortaya koyulmuş ve buna göre çıkarımlar yapılmıştır. Ön test-son test yöntemiyle uygulanan çalışmanın güvenirlilik ve geçerlilik oranı tespit edilmiştir. Öğrenciler bu sayede öz değerlendirme açısından net bir bakışa sahip olurken dil edincinin lisans eğitimlerinde elzem olduğunu görebileceklerdir.
The presence of preparatory classes in the bachelor’s programs where the translation activity is intense has been from the topics discussed by educators. Being a means of communication and the need for language use during the translation action increases the value of the preparation classes. The translatable bachelor’s programmes are extensive sections that require both written and verbal translation and learning their skills. Therefore, learning a foreign language and experiencing it with intensive language exercises is the basis of the success of these sections. Our students are individuals who are studying in Turkey and do not have the hours of study to establish the necessary connection with foreign languages. All of these negative conditions indicate that the preparation classes are a necessary and important stage as the first step. For this purpose, the framework of the study was created at the center of academic translation training and preparation classes. Preparatory classes have been tried to show that they are a need to adapt to language learning and bachelor's programmes. The presence of preparation classes that will be provided with a quality pre-training to enhance the future professional achievements of students and upgrade their professional standards may be concerned. Here a study was conducted in which quality data was tested through experiment and observation and quantitative results were obtained. The rubric scale was used. The scale criteria have been determined and a score system has been made, taking into account the skills and skills students need to acquire during their translation training. The translation profession is considered to be appropriate for the criteria set. The results of the applied tests have shown the number of students’ success status and the conclusions have been made accordingly. The reliability and validity of the study applied with the pre-test-final test method has been determined. Thus students will be able to see that the language acquirer is an element in the bachelor’s education while they have a clear view of self-evaluation.
