Abstract:

This study aimed at determining the level of media literacy of those who learn Turkish as a foreign language according to various variables. The study group is formed by the Turkish Teaching Center of the University of Inönü. The study used the scan method in which Turkish as a foreign language is studied the media literacy levels according to various variables. Quantitative research method has been used to describe the current state of students. To measure the media reading levels of students, the researchers developed the "Made to determine the level of media reading for Turkish students as a foreign language" was used. Data analysis used frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, factor analysis, correlation, t test and Anova test. As a result of the findings, the study of Turkish as a foreign language has also studied whether gender has a meaningful impact on the media literature levels, whether to follow the Turkish newspaper, the frequency of watching the Turkish television broadcasts, the frequency of using the Turkish internet sites.
