“Değer” kelimesi felsefe, psikoloji, sosyoloji, matematik, iktisat gibi birçok bilim dalında sıklıkla kullanılan ve farklı yönleri ile ele alınmış bir kavramdır. “Değer” kavramı, ideal insan yetiştirmeyi amaç edinen eğitim alanının da vazgeçilmezlerindendir. Türk toplumu özelinde geçmişte evlerde, mahallelerde, sokaklarda, çarşı-pazar yerlerinden görülerek, işitilerek, hissedilerek kazanılan değerler bugün “değerler eğitimi” adı altında belirli bir sistem çerçevesinde, belirli yöntemlerle okullarda aktarılmaya çalışılmaktadır. Lâkin değerler eğitimi sürecini işler hale getiren yöntemler ve bu yöntemleri besleyen akademik çalışmalar değer tasnifi sorunuyla karşı karşıyadır. Batılı bir değer tasnifi olan Schwartz’ın değer sınıflandırması aracılığıyla incelediğimiz ve betimsel içerik analizi tekniğini kullandığımız Lutfiyye-i Vehbî’de, söz konusu sınıflandırmada yer alan 10 değer tipinden 8’i, 56 değerden de 19’u tespit edilebilmiştir. Çalışmamız açısından önemli olan kısım ise Schwartz’ın değer sınıflandırmasında yer almayan 13 değere Lutfiyye-i Vehbî’de rastlamış olmamızdır. Bu da göstermektedir ki değer tasnifleri içerisinde en sık olarak kullanılan ve evrensel değerleri esas alma noktasında en başarılı olan Schwartz’ın değer sınıflandırması, Türk-İslam medeniyeti sınırları içerisinde ortaya konulmuş eserleri değerlendirme noktasında ihtiyacı karşılamamaktadır. Kendi değerlerimizle yoğrulmuş tam teşekküllü bir değer tasnifine sahip olamayışımız, ihtiyacı karşılamadığından ötürü araştırmacıların Batılı değer tasniflerine mesafeli yaklaşması meseleleri de birer sorun olarak ortadadır. Çalışmamızda Sünbülzâde Vehbî’nin Lutfiyye-i Vehbî adlı eserinden hareketle bahsi geçen değer tasnifi sorununa dikkat çekilecektir.
The word "value" is a concept that is commonly used in many disciplines of science, such as philosophy, psychology, sociology, mathematics, economics and is addressed with different aspects. The concept of "value" is also one of the indispensables of the educational field that aims to educate the ideal man. In particular in the Turkish society, the values gained in the past in houses, neighborhoods, streets, Wednesday-Sunday places by seeing, hearing, feeling today under the name of "values education" in the framework of a specific system, with certain methods being tried to be transmitted in schools. The methods that make the learning process work and the academic studies that feed these methods face the problem of value assembly. In Lutfiyye-i Vehbî, which we have studied through the value classification of Schwartz, a western value classification, and we use the visual content analysis technique, 8 of the 10 value types included in that classification, and 19 of the 56 values were identified. The important part of our study is that we have found 13 values not included in Schwartz’s value classification in Lutfiyye-i Vehbî. This also shows that the value classification of Schwartz, which is the most commonly used and the most successful in the basis of universal values, does not meet the need for the evaluation of works presented within the Turkish-Islamic civilization borders. Because we have not a full-fledged value classification, joined with our own values, and they do not meet the need, the issues of the researchers’ distance approach to the Western values classification are also a problem. In our work we will be attracted to the problem of the value of the work referred to by movement from the work of Sünbülzâde Vehbî’s Lutfiyye-i Vehbî.
