Abstract:

The aim of this study is to develop a measurement tool that can be used in determining the attitudes of those who teach Turkish as a foreign language towards technology. With the expertise of the 47 material experimental form developed for this purpose, extent validity was provided, then the Yunus Emre Institute, the language centers of the universities (DILMER, TÖMER), official schools (PICTES, optional courses) and 302 people taught Turkish as a foreign language in special courses. With the data obtained from the first application, the Opening Factor Analysis (AFA) was performed, the structure validity of the scale was tested. The AFA results in a three-factor structure consisting of 30 substances, called avoidance, willingness and adoption. These 3 factors (1 factor %30,960, 2 factor %26,233, 3. Factor 7,134) found that the variance described meets 64,327 percent. In the next stage, the scale form was sent to a different group of 191 people to verify the structure validity of the materials, and the data obtained was conducted by movement verifying factor analysis (DFA). The construction validity of the final scale form of 30 materials with the made AFA and DFA has been confirmed. The measurement’s reliability studies are determined by the internal consistency ratings calculated for the whole and subfactors of the measurement, while the Cronbach alpha reliability ratio for the whole measurement is 0.91, the α value for the first factor (deference) is 0.95, the α value for the second factor (deference) is 0.91 and the α value for the third factor is 0.89. The results of the analysis have shown that the scale’s validity and internal consistency are high and that the teachers of Turkish as a foreign language measure their attitudes towards technology in a valid and reliable way.
