Türkiye tarihi, kültürel mirasının çeşitliliği ve yoğunluğu ile önemli ülkelerden birisidir. Stratejik konumu, coğrafyası, kültürel çeşitliliği ve turizmiyle son yıllarda turistler için önemli bir merkez haline gelmiştir. Aynı zamanda Türkiye'deki üniversiteler, yabancı öğrenciler için eğitim alabilecekleri önemli bir pozisyona ulaşmıştır. Bu üniversiteler, yabancı öğrenciler için TÖMER’i (Türkçe Öğretimi Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi) kurmuştur. Bir yabancı dili öğrenmek, sadece dilin kendisini değil, kültürün edinilmesini de kapsar. Araştırmamızın amacı Türkiye’de, Eskişehir Anadolu Üniversitesi’nde, TÖMER’den eğitim alan öğrencilerin küreselleşen dünyada hem şehir hem de ülke genelindeki kültürel miraslara olan ilgilerinin araştırılması ve değerlendirilmesidir. Bu merkezin, yabancı öğrencilere kültür mirasının tanıtılması konusunda ne denli katkı sağladığı, öğrencilerin inisiyatifleriyle kültür mirasına temasları ve kendi ülkelerinin kültürel miraslarını farkındalıkları konusunda sorular içeren anket, örneklem gruba uygulanmış ve sonuçları SPSS ile analiz edilmiş, frekans dağılımları oluşturulup yorumlanarak, kültürel miras ve koruma farkındalığının tespiti hedeflenmiştir. Sonuçların değerlendirilmesi ile her ülkeden gelen öğrencilerin birer kültür ataşesi olduğu fikriyle çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
Turkey is one of the important countries with its diversity and intensity of historical, cultural heritage. With its strategic location, geography, cultural diversity and tourism, it has become an important center for tourists in recent years. At the same time, the universities in Turkey have reached an important position in which they can get education for foreign students. These universities have established the TOMER (Turkish Teaching Application and Research Center) for foreign students. Learning a foreign language involves not only the acknowledgement of the language itself, but also the acknowledgement of the culture. The purpose of our research is to investigate and evaluate the interests of students studying in Turkey, Eskişehir Anadolu University, TÖMER in the globalized world in both the city and the country's cultural heritage. The survey, which includes questions about how much this center contributes to the promotion of cultural heritage to foreign students, the students’ initiatives and questions about their contacts with cultural heritage and their country’s cultural heritage awareness, is applied to the sample group and the results are analyzed with SPSS, the frequency distribution is created and interpreted, the target is to identify the awareness of cultural heritage and protection. The assessment of the results and the idea that students from each country are a cultural attraction has been presented in various recommendations.

Concurrently, Turkish universities have reached an important position in the education of foreign students. These universities have established Turkish learning center TÖMER for foreign students. Example of students trained by tömer at Eskisehir Anadolu University This center contributed to the promotion of cultural heritage to foreign students, the questionnaire, which includes questions about how this center contributed in the promotion of cultural heritage to foreign students, the questionnaire was applied to the sample group of students and the results of the survey were analysed in SPSS statistical program. In addition, the frequency distributions were obtained and interpreted. During the evaluation of the results, several suggestions have been made with the idea that the student from every country is a cultural fever.
