Research in the field of translation in recent years has indicated the power of the police in producing national algorithm. Because it was able to provide a historical, social, cultural and geographical cutting on the time it was written, the type of police has begun to be regarded as "New Reality". The translation of this kind, which could produce the national algorithm of its own period, was discussed in the form of "translation of the national algorithm in the source text into another national algorithm". The purpose of this article is to study the first series of examples of police literature in the context of national allegory translation in the light of new approaches to police literature in the field of translation. According to this purpose, Sherlock Holmes's Amanvermez Avni, the first authorship police work published in a series in Turkey, was chosen as the research object of the illustrative work. In this illustrative study, the Ottoman's Sherlock Holmes will be moved from the example of the Untold Avni and the first period of the series of authorship to the police literary examples will be translated into the original/translated discussions through the perspective of translation. The illustrative work to be done for this purpose will be based on the translation-oriented conceptualizations of Alistair Rolls, who researches in the field of literary translation to the police.
