We can see in many of details that Ömer Kavur, who is known for his sophisticatedconsciousness of art, created the plastic construction in his films not by change but byconsciousness. The secret of the realness of “Motherland Hotel”, which affect theviewer very deeply, is hidden in his design of cinematographic plans. When wescrutinize the film from begining to end, we can analyse the geometric composition ofeach scene very clearly. Kavur uses not only architectural elements but many otherelements to organise the surface of scene. The arrangement of all of these elementstogether creates the dens, multiple-layered, mostly gloomy and very authentic ÖmerKavur atmosphere
