Tourism establishments’ original values that they present to their guests are services based on “making them experience” towards providing entertainment, peace and satisfaction. This kind of services can be carried out with workers who find work fun, see the establishment as a peaceful environment and who have high work satisfaction, spirits and motivation. The most important factor in worker satisfaction in order to achieve guest satisfaction is motivation tools supplied by concrete and spirit functions. In this study, the importance of internal and external motivation tools used for worker motivation in Uludağ winter hotels and their effect on workers are investigated. As a result of this study which is carried out with survey technique it is determined that workers who have different qualifications, needs and expectations give importance to the motivation tools in different levels. Workers give great importance to psychological and social motivation tools and organizational and administrative motivation tools. Male workers, married workers and workers who have a bachelor’s degree give more importance to motivation tools than female workers, single workers and workers who are high school graduates or who have an assosicate degree. As a conclusion it is recommended that administrators should know their workers closely and use suitable motivation tools.
