Abstract:

The main objective of this study is to identify the key professional stress factors that affect accounting professionals. It has also been studied whether the conditions of occupational stress influence by occupational stress factors differ according to demographic variables. In the framework of the study, the accounting professional members of the Kayseri province were surveyed in two sections. In light of the findings obtained, 8 factors that cause professional stress have been determined, including physical conditions, material concerns, standards and control, time, the nature of the work, continuity of the profession, level of knowledge and ethics. A statistically meaningful relationship between civil status, educational status, way of work, professional experience and demographic variables of income levels has been identified.
