Abstract:

Immigration is a phenomenon of importance for human development due to the changes that a person creates around. In this aggregation study, the fact of migration is assessed according to Bronfenbrenner's Theory of Ecological Systems. As a result of migration, changes occur in the microsystems, mezosystems, exosystems and macrosystems, and with these changes, inter-systems interactions sometimes have a positive and sometimes negative impact on the development of the immigrant child. One of the important areas to study the development of the child is children's games. It is important to study children’s games to evaluate the effects of immigration experience on children and how children deal with the stress created by the change that the immigration experience creates. The games allow children to explain the fact of migration and reduce their anxiety by feeling controlled over the event. The studies that study the impact of the immigration experience on the development of children in literature are limited, but the studies that study the children's games in order to evaluate the development of children after the immigration are not enough to disappear. The study examines the games of immigrant children and provides recommendations for future research.
