In this study, organizational commitment and satisfaction levels of employees in the banking sector was questioned. The survey of public and private sector (banks, deposit and participation) personnel working in bank branches and staff satisfaction, organizational commitment scale and demographic variables, including questions related to the questionnaire distributed at 250, but 200 of them were evaluated. The analysis found no difference between sectors in terms of organizational commitment, however there is a difference in satisfaction levels of employees among some different demographic variables. Besides, a liner relationship was found among emotional, normative commitment and job satisfaction.
