Değerler eğitimi bireyin değerleri kazanması, benimsemesi ve karakterinin bir temel unsuru haline getirerek davranışa dönüştürmesi için verilen ve hayat boyu devam eden bir eğitimdir. Bu eğitime olan ihtiyaç ve artan ilgi akademik alanda da karşılık bulmuş ve bilim insanları değer ve değerler eğitimi kavramını çeşitli şekilde ele almaya çalışmışlardır. Bu kavramların akademik bakış açısı ile ele alınmasının önemi, değerler eğitiminin insan gelişiminde ve toplumsal yapıdaki etkisi dikkate alınarak bu çalışmada Türkiye’de değerler eğitimi alanında yapılmış lisansüstü tez çalışmalarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda doküman analizi işlemi yapılarak betimsel bir çalışma oluşturulmuştur. Çalışmaya bu güne kadar Türkiye’de yapılmış ve YÖK Ulusal Tez Merkezi sisteminde kayıtlı tezler dahil edilmiştir. Bu kapsamda “değerler eğitimi” anahtar kelimesini içeren bugüne kadar Türkiye’deki üniversitelerde yapılmış özet ve tam metinlerine ulaşılan tüm lisansüstü tezler bilgisayar ortamına kodlanarak aktarılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler frekans ve yüzde kullanılarak betimsel olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan incelemeler sonucunda değerler eğitimini konu edinen lisansüstü çalışmaların son derece sınırlı olduğu, çalışmaların büyük bir kısmının son 10 yıl içerisinde yapıldığı, genelde edebi eserlerdeki değer algısına yönelik çalışmalar olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu doğrultuda değerler eğitiminin akademik olarak daha fazla çalışması bu alandaki eksiklerin giderilmesine katkı sağlayacaktır.
Values Education is a lifelong education given to the individual to gain, accept and transform his character into behavior by becoming a fundamental element of values. The need for this education and increasing interest have also been answered in the academic field and scientists have tried to deal with the concept of education of values and values in a variety of ways. The importance of addressing these concepts from an academic point of view, taking into account the impact of value education on human development and social structure in this study is aimed at studying the postgraduate thesis studies in the field of value education in Turkey. For this purpose, a document analysis process was created. The study has been conducted in Turkey until this day and the theses registered in the YÖK National Thesis Center system have been included. In this context, all sub-graduate theses that have been completed in the summary and full texts made at the universities in Turkey, which contain the keyword "values education", have been transmitted by encoding into the computer environment. The data obtained are evaluated in a visual manner using frequency and percentage. The results of the studies found that the graduate studies on the subject of the education of values are extremely limited, the majority of the studies have been done in the last 10 years, usually studies aimed at the perception of value in literary works. More academic work of the values education in this direction will contribute to the removal of the shortcomings in this field.
