Özet:

Context/content in health communication, is the primary point in question. When we use it as a completion, health communication, which contains many communication activities like doctor-patient, patient-doctor, interpersonal communication, institutional communication, mass communication, should not be considered as one dimensional communication. In this study, health communication will be discussed within a conceptual framework; first, in order for health care communication activities to work well, it will focus on the approaches of health workers towards the subject, and then it will focus on communication-based approaches expressed by health workers on the conceptual approach of communication. Hence, proposals will be presented in terms of realization of communication. Within the scope of this study, proceedings books which are belonged to IV. and the V. National Health Performance and Quality Congress’ held by the Turkish Ministry of Health, were scanned and a total of 152 papers were included in the research which includes communication and communication related issues. The solution recommendations are than addressed in the context of the communication centered problems of the health workers and their solution proposals to these problems. In the literature, the applicability of some certain behavioral models of psychology in health communication has been expressed. It is stated that these studies may serve as a model for solving the problems encountered in health communication in terms of institutional communication and interpersonal communication as well as providing examples in the field of health communication.
