Çocuk oyunları; çocuğun eğitimi, gelişimi, ruh sağlığı ve psikolojisi açısından insan hayatında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu oyunlar çocukların fiziki gelişimine katkı sağladığı gibi zekâsını kullanmasına da katkı sunmaktadır. Çocuk, oyun sırasında bir yandan eğlenerek mutlu olurken bir yandan da sosyalleşmekte, oyun tekerlemeleri ile dil kullanımını geliştirmekte ve oyunda aldığı rolle sorumluluk bilinci kazanmaktadır. Yaşamla ilgili deneyimleri oyun aracılığıyla kazanan çocuk; fiziksel, bilişsel, sosyal, duygusal ve dil gelişimini bu yolla desteklemektedir. Geleneksel çocuk oyunları çocuklarda; öz yönetim, dil-iletişim, problem çözme, karar verme, liderlik, eğlenme, işbirliği yapma ve takım olma becerilerini geliştirmektedir. Bu çalışmada; Bingöl’de derlediğimiz geleneksel çocuk oyunları hakkında oyunlarla ilgili görseller de kullanılarak ayrıntılı bilgiler verilmiştir. Böylelikle geleneksel çocuk oyunlarının unutulmaması ve gelecek nesillere bir kültürel miras olarak aktarılması hedeflenmiştir.

Kid games have a significant role in human life in terms of education, development, mental health and psychology of a child. These games contribute to children’s physical development as well as making them use their intelligence. The child gets socialise entertaining during games period, also improving its language usage so long as gaining a sense of responsibility with the role it plays. The child who gains experience of life through games provides its physical, cognitive, social, emotional and language developments by this way. Traditional kid games increase the skills such as self-management, language-communication, problem solving, decision-making, leadership, entertainment, cooperation and team-building in children. In this study, it has been given detailed an information about the traditional kid games collected in Bingöl using the pictures related to the games. Thus, it is aimed to transfer the traditional kid games as a cultural heritage to future generations.
