Abstract:

Bu araştırmada toplum içinde kendi kültür değerlerine bağlı, milli şuuru olan, milli ve manevi değerlerine sahip çıkan birey olarak Türk destanlarının sanat eğitiminde kullanımına yönelik neden gerekli olduğu vurgulanmak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda sanat eğitiminin hem birey hem de toplum açısından vazgeçilmez ve yaşam boyu elde edinilmesi gereken bir eğitim alanı olarak sanat eğitimi içinde Türk mitolojisinin yer almasının hem bilişsel hem de görsel unsur olarak gerekli olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu gerekçe ile sanat eğitiminde Türk mitolojisinin yeri ve toplumsal bir ihtiyaç olarak milli ve manevi değerlerin kazanımı, milli tarihin öğrenimi ve milli birlik duygusunun öğretilmesi kapsamında verilmesi gerektiği önerilmiştir.
