Abstract:

ABSTRACT The vocational colleges are important schools that provide techinical manpower needed in production. The vocational colleges are important for the business world, and the business world is also important for the vocational colleges. Because, the business world provides employment possibilities for the graduateds from vocational colleges, and the vocational colleges teach professsional staff for business world. The continuous increase in the needs of qualified and well-trained technical staff for industrial establishments, and enterprises increases the importance of vocational colleges. Therefore, the cooperation between the business world and the Vocational Schools must be very strict. Despite the constant expression of this cooperation, unfortunately the desired level has not been reached. In order to reach the desired level, the practices of the courses in the schools must be done in the related industrial establishments and enterprises. In order for school industry cooperation to be sustainable and lasting, legal arrangements should be made to cover both school and related businesses. While education and training programs are being organized, opinions of enterprises and related industrial organizations should be taken.
