Özet:

History of economics is a very important discipline. The stages of this subsection is not possible to independently examine apart from the structure of the development of science in Turkey., After a historical chronology of the process of change in historiography in the history of Turkish economics has been given to review in this study which aims to analyze where the history of economics is and comparative perspectives of economic considerations of Halil İnalcık and Sabri F. Ülgener who contributes importantly to the definition of the history of economics as a science subsection. The study includes that Sabri Ülgener’s studies contribute to the field of sociology rather than the history of economics, emphasizing the necessity of having a quality material accumulation and an educated human mind that uses these materials in the best way in order to success in history, Halil İnalcık, who has gained a reputation for his studies on Ottoman economic and social history, has been seen to be one of the most important names from the many perspectives such as the involvement of establishment of Turkish historiography, scientific foundation of Turkish historiography, explaining the history of economics at institutional level and studying interdisciplinary science. Consequently, in this study called COMPARATIVE PERSPECTIVE OVERVIEW OF "HALIL INALCIK" AND "SABRY COUNTRY'S ECONOMIC THOUGHTS IN THE HISTORY OF TURKISH ECONOMICS, these two important philosophers who contributed to the shaping of Turkish historiography with economic thoughts from the history of Turkish economics to the summit of modern Turkish historiography are analyzed from a comparative perspective and it's also understood that in terms of economic thought how valuable the legacy of economic thought they have left to the people who study history of Turkish economics in terms of present and future scholars.
