Özet:

Memoirs are a catalyst for providing data to the collective memories of societies; are the important sources of information that enable yesterday to move today and also for tomorrow. In this respect, memories are documents focused on showing and seeing nuance differences between details and similarities of events and phenomena expressed as "big picture". In the frame of this feature of the memories, Ihsan Sabri Çağlayangil; have seen three of Sultan, five President, and also memoirs with Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Celal Bayar, Adnan Menderes, Demirel, Ismet Pasha, Kenan Evren and also from Gaulle to Thatcher. Caglayangil and other things that make his memories important; fifteen years of work at the General Directorate of Security, fifteen years of governorship, he is the only one who has served as the foreign minister for the longest time since Tevfik Rüştü Aras and has served as the Vice President for nearly six months before 1980. Çağlayangil, who has a colorful and rich content, remembers this situation as "Fate has given us a reputation". In this opinion, as a person who lived in the various days from past to today "personally" the days of the Sultan time, the Atatürk, the one-party and the İnönü, the Democratic Party, the May 27, the Yassıada, the Justice Party, the March 12 and the September 12 periods and also the Zincirbozan days. Recently, the memory of Çağlayangil, especially the writer of Tanju Cılızoğlu, who has witnessed the era in which he lived in this way with the events of Dersim, has been transformed into chronological ordinary events iirs containsthirty-nine chapters in his own totality. Caglayangil's memoirs contains; from internal politics to foreign politics, from Dersim events, from the downturn and social life. With this study, Çağlayangil's memorable memories of today's political, historical, social, etc. to utilize in the evaluation and analysis of events and phenomena and to transfer the possible findings to future generations.
