Abstract:

After converting to Islam, the Turkish people had translated the Qur’an into their own language wherever they settled. The translations of the Qur’an are essential to tracing and identifying the historical periods of the Turkish language. The Turks who had been converted in to Islam have taken great care in translating the holy book of the religion to which they have converted. In the earliest period interlinear translations had been common. In these literal, word-for-word translations a counterpart had beenn assigned to each term
