Abstract:

Our contemporary Kazakh poetry is a continuation of oral tradition. There al founder of Kazakh written literature is Abay Kunanbayev. Kazakh poetry has confronted various transformations and changes since its written period. It was influenced from its own unique politica land social phenomenon and decisions of that period. While some poets take advantage of these events and phenomena with positive sides, other poets criticized them. Abay Kunanbayev considered to be the ultimate thinker, philosopher, intellectual, poe tand writer, is seen to appear gradually on Soviet Kazakh geography, when his period is taken into consideration. During this process, on the one hand Russian schools were being set up on Kazakh land; on the other hand, traditional madrasahs continued their education. Whereas the writers and poets graduated from the sema drasahs focused on religious, moral and cultural elements, poets like Abay, who were both graduated from madrasahs and were trained in Western literature, are seen to focus on innovation and modernization besides religious and moral elements. In Kazakh geography, after Abay’speriod, Russia consolidated its domination on the region politically. Within this process, while making one type of person propagandas as the theme of the poems were carrie doutthrough party policies all over the Soviet geography, Turkism them ewasperformedoverthe idea of Turan by Mağcan Cumabayev and his friends. During the Second World War, defending the country and solidarity against the invasion of Nazi wasseen in Kazakh poetry. After the independence in 1991, nation excitement and patriotism with epic themes were reflected in Kazakh poetry. In the view of this point; thematic change of Mağcan appears parallel to cahnage of all Kazakh poetry
