Abstract:

One of the factors affecting today’s work life is the conflict between the workers’ work and family lives. This subject, known as the work-family life conflict, in addition to many factors in the business life, can also affect the employment satisfaction and organizational commitments of employees. In this context, a study in the banking sector and the impact of work-family life conflict on work satisfaction and organizational commitment, while the role of mediation of work stress has also been sought to be determined. The research finds that the conflict of work-family life in general directly affects work satisfaction and organizational commitment, while the work satisfaction is partially affected through work stress. It has also been determined that from the lower dimensions of the work-family life conflict, the work-family conflict has a positive impact on the work stress and the satisfaction of the work.
