Bu araştırma, taraftarların medya okuryazarlık düzeyleri perspektifinden taraftar davranışlarının incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu araştırma betimsel ve ilişkisel tarama modelinde yapılandırılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 2016-2017 Türkiye 1. liginde mücadele eden toplam 300 (47 Kadın 253 erkek) Manisaspor taraftarından oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Korkmaz ve Yeşil (2011) tarafından geliştirilen “Medya ve Televizyon Okuryazarlık Düzeyleri Ölçeği” ile Koçer (2012) tarafından “Taraftarların Tutum ve Davranışlarını Belirleme ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin istatistiksel analizlerinde parametrik dağılım gösteren veriler için One way Anova, nonparametrik veriler için ise Mann Whitney U test ve Kruskall Wallis H testi uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca ilişkisel tarama için Korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler neticesinde Medya ve Televizyon okuryazarlık düzeyleri alt boyutlarından okuryazarlık ve bağımlılık ile taraftarların tutum ve davranışlarını belirlemeye yönelik alt boyutlardan şiddet ve saldırganlık eğilimi, takım yenilgisinin kişiye etkileri, takımın desteklenmesi ve taraftarı tahrik eden faktörler arasında anlamlı ilişkilerin ortaya çıktığı tespit edilmiştir. Okuryazarlık düzeyi alt boyutunun, şiddet ve saldırganlık ile takım yenilgisinin kişiye etkileri alt boyutları arasında negatif ilişki bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak taraftarların olumlu davranış içerisinde bulunmalarında sporcu ve taraftarların şiddet ve saldırganlıkla ilgili tutumlarının yanı sıra medya okuryazarlık algılarının da önemli bir etkisi olduğu ifade edilebilir. Bu sonuçlar, sporla ilgili görüntüleme ve tartışmanın, tutum, değer ve davranışlarda anlam ve düşünceleri paylaşma fırsatı oluşturabileceğini göstermektedir. Bu açıdan spor kulüplerinin taraftarlarına, spor ve medya okuryazarlığı konularında farkındalık yaratmaları için imkânlar sunmaları önerilmektedir.
This study was conducted with the aim of studying the supporters’ behavior from the perspective of the media literature levels. This research is structured in the visual and relative scanning model. The study’s work group consists of a total of 300 (47 women and 253 men) Manisaspor supporters who fought in the first league 2016-2017 in Turkey. In the study, the data collection tool is not feared and developed by Green (2011) with the "Media and Television Reading Levels Scale" used by Koçer (2012) with the "Skala Determining Attitudes and Behaviors of Guests". For statistical analysis of data, One way Anova was applied for parametry distribution data, and for non-parametric data Mann Whitney U test and Kruskall Wallis H test. Correlation analysis has also been used for relative scanning. As a result of the data obtained, the media and television readiness levels from the lower dimensions to the readiness and addiction and the tendency of violence and aggression from the lower dimensions to determine the attitudes and behaviors of the supporters, the effects of team defeat on the person, the support of the team and the factors that drive the supporters have established meaningful relationships. The negative relationship between the lower dimensions of the level of readiness, the effects of violence and aggression and team defeat on the person has been found. As a result, the positive behavior of the supporters and the attitudes of the athletes and supporters in relation to violence and aggression, as well as the perceptions of media literature, can be significantly influenced. These findings show that sports-related visualization and discussion can create an opportunity to share meaning and thoughts in attitudes, values and behaviors. In this regard, it is recommended that sports clubs offer opportunities for their fans to create awareness of sports and media literature issues.
