The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of collaborative learning methods and models in the understanding of the gas structures of the scientist knowledge education students. The research method is semi-experienced. The sample of the study consists of 79 students studying in the first class of science knowledge education. The study worked with two experimental groups [Cooperative Learning Group and Cooperative Model Group where collaborative learning and models are used together] and a Control Group with three groups. The five questions of the gas-related substance's tanectical structure test (GMTYT) were applied to students as a preliminary and final test. According to the results of ANOVA, there was a significant difference between the groups in the last test. In addition, the distribution of gases in students is associated with molecular masses, the increase in temperature resulting from the increase in the number of tanks, the errors in the form of gas molecules mixing in each other and dividing into atoms.
