Kekemelik konuşma akışındaki tutukluk, istemsiz tekrar ve uzatmalar, sözcükleri fiziksel bir gerginlikle söyleme gibi ifadelerle konuşma ritmindeki bozukluk olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Ses eğitimi ise içine konuşma eğitimini de alan disiplinler arası özel bir alan eğitimidir. Çalışmada kekemeliğin tedavisinde kullanılan birçok yöntemin ses eğitimi çalışmalarında kullanılan yöntemlerle benzerliği ortaya konmuş ve bu bağlamda ses eğitimi egzersizlerinden örnekler göstererek kekemeliğin tedavisinde kullanılabilirliği vurgulanmıştır. Çalışmada betimsel analiz kullanılmış bu amaçla elde edilen veriler açık bir şekilde betimlenmiş, daha sonra ise yapılan betimlemeler yorumlanıp neden sonuç ilişkileri irdelenmiştir. Ses eğitimi ile kekemeliğin tedavisi disiplinler arası bir yaklaşımla sunulup, kekemeliğin tedavisinde ses eğitimi çalışmalarından büyük ölçüde faydalanılan yurt içi ve yurt dışında yapılmış çalışmalardan örnekler gösterilmiştir. Birçok ses rahatsızlığının tedavisinde kullanılan ses eğitimi bir de bu yaklaşımla sunulmuş beraberinde uygulanabilecek egzersizler açık bir şekilde belirtilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda ses eğitimi çalışmalarından nefes, artikülasyon (boğumlama) yüz kaslarını gevşetme, müzikal ritim ile okuma ve şarkı söyleme gibi alanlarda kekemeliğin tedavi edilebilirliği ifade edilmiştir.
The discourse is defined as a disorder in the speech rhythm with expressions such as discourse, unwanted repetitions and prolongations, speaking words with physical tension. The vocal education is a special field of interdisciplinary education that includes the vocal education. The study found similarities with the methods used in sound training studies of the many methods used in the treatment of scratch, and in this context the availability in the treatment of scratch was emphasized by showing examples of sound training exercises. In the study, the data obtained for this purpose used imaging analysis was clearly described, then the illustrations made were interpreted and why the result relationships were interpreted. The sound training and the treatment of scratch are presented with a interdisciplinary approach and examples of studies done in the country and abroad that have been largely benefited from the sound training studies in the treatment of scratch. The sound training used in the treatment of many noise disorders is also presented with this approach and the exercises that can be applied together are clearly indicated. As a result of the study, the sound training studies expressed the healability in areas such as breathing, articulation (boiling) and relaxing facial muscles, reading with musical rhythm and singing.
