The aim of this study is to examine both the direct effect of job-family conflict and its sub-dimensions (jobfamily conflict depend on time-stress-behaviour, family-job conflict) on job satisfaction of the employees working in the banking sector and the ındirect effect of family-job conflict on this relation. The findings of the research conducted on 243 employees working in public / private sector banks located in 9 districts of Ankara (Ostim, Beytepe, Batıkent, Ümitköy, Cebeci, Bilkent, Çayyolu, Beşevler, Kızılay) in 2011 showed that there is a statistically significant and negative relationship between job-family conflict and job satisfaction and family-job conflict has a suppression mediation effect on this relationship.
