On account of being both fortifying participation and also being the reflection of daily life, stories have been essential materials in language teaching for ages. The stories which are oral and written cultural products have been conveyed to the digital world via developing communicative technology. With developing technology, lasted maximum three-minute “Digital Stories” which are transferred to the digital media by supporting with audios and visualizations have come out. The purpose of the research is to familiarize the digital storytelling which is powerful in teaching relative to basic language skills’ targets and outcomes which fall within Turkish Language Teaching Program (6,7,8. Grades) (Mİnistry of National Education:2006) to apply in native language education classes. Document analysis has been used in the study which is based on a theoretical basis as data accumulate technique. Descriptive analysis technique has been utilized to analyze the data. In this research, the result has come out that digital storytelling is effective in transferring the native language skills.
