Bu çalışmada Ar&Ge harcamaları, inovasyon, Ar&Ge’de çalışan araştırmacı sayısı ve reel efektif döviz kurunun ihracata etkileri; gelişmekte olan Asya Ülkelerinin 1996-2016 dönemi verileri kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Ülkeler arasında yatay kesit bağımlılığının varlığının tespit edildiği çalışmada serilerin durağanlığı; CADF yöntemiyle incelenmiş ve serilerin birinci farkta durağan oldukları belirlenmiştir. Serilerin eşbütünleşiklikleri; Durbin-H yöntemiyle incelenmiş ve eşbütünleşik oldukları görülmüştür. Eşbütünleşme katsayılarının homojenliği delta testiyle incelenmiş ve homojen oldukları belirlenmiştir. Eşbütünleşme katsayıları Panel AMG yöntemiyle tahmin edilmiş ve Ar&Ge harcamalarının ihracatı Çin, G. Kore, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Tayland ve Türkiye’de pozitif ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı biçimde etkilediği, paneli oluşturan ülkelerin genelinde Ar&Ge harcamalarındaki %1’lik artışın, ihracatı %0.20 oranında artırdığı belirlenmiştir. İnovasyonun ihracat üzerindeki etkisinin sadece Hong Kong, Kazakistan ve Singapur’da pozitif ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı olduğu görülmüştür. Ar&Ge alanında çalışan araştırmacı sayısının ihracat üzerinde sadece Hindistan’da pozitif ve istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir etkisinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Reel efektif döviz kurundaki azalışların, Çin ve Filipinler’de dış ticarette rekabet gücünü artırarak, ihracatı artırdığı görülmüştür.
In this study, research and development expenditure, innovation, the number of researchers working in R&D and the impact of real effective exchange rate on exports were studied using data from the 1996-2016 period of developing Asian countries. The existence of horizontal cutting dependency between the countries has been identified in the study of the stagnation of the series; it has been studied by the CADF method and determined that the series are stagnated in the first difference. The combinations of the series have been studied by the Durbin-H method and seen as combined. The homogeneity of the integration ratio has been studied by the delta test and determined to be homogeneous. Integration rates are estimated by Panel AMG method and R&D expenditure exports China, G. The Korean, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Thailand and Turkey have been affected positively and statistically significantly, with a 1% increase in R&D spending across the Panel forming countries, and a 0.20% increase in exports. The impact of innovation on exports has only been shown to be positive and statistically meaningful in Hong Kong, Kazakhstan and Singapore. The number of researchers working in R&D has been found to have a positive and statistically meaningful impact on exports only in India. Reductions in the real effective exchange rate have been seen to increase exports by increasing the competitiveness in foreign trade in China and the Philippines.
