Abstract:

With the position of the Erzurum region there are so many culture throughout the history. There are so many remains of these civilizations. May be the most important examples of remains is architecture ones. Erzurum Region, a historical transit route for a large part of the structures of the castles built for defensive purposes. But constructing of these castles needs so much effort. Therefore, the material used for the mesh methods and periodic regional differences. Our main issue "cyclopean method" is a method used for the area in the Iron Age. In this system with the less construction items organizes more durable things combınes without using with this the other things. With this study we want to show the examples of the types of the knitting which is the similar in the Iron Age with the difference of the environment. Our aim is to show thoughts of lack of the study about the ancient history architecture and also to fill the needs of the history
