Otomotiv sektörü, ülke ekonomisine katkısı ve birçok farklı sektöre öncülük etmesi açısından önemli sektörlerden birisidir. Bu çalışmada, sektörün incelenmesi kapsamında öncelikle otomotiv sektörünün dünyadaki mevcut durumu ele alınarak ülkelerin ekonomilerine katkılarından bahsedilmiş, sonrasında Türkiye’de otomotiv endüstrisinin gelişimi ve mevcut durumu incelenmiş, son olarak da otomotiv sektörünün çözülmesi gereken sorunlarına değinilmiş ve çeşitli öneriler sunulmuştur
