People have to learn a second language in today‟s globalized world. Because of the fact that it is a spoken language in a large geographical area, Turkish is also been learned and taught. In this study, we tried to determine the views of students about the course of „Teaching Turkish lessons for foreigners‟, which was integrated in the curriculum of Turkish Teacher Training Program in 2005. The participants of the study are composed of 105 Turkish Language Teaching third-grade students in Buca Faculty of Education. This investigation is a qualitative research and we used content analysis method for the data analysis. In addition, we also used semi-structured interview form as a means of data collection.
