Abstract:

It is important in respect of future of a discipline that a discipline evaluates its own accumulation of publications at certain intervals. Most of the scientific research are published as articles at journals. Therefore, journals provide considerable opportunities for the such evaluations. The accumulation of publications of the disciplines interested in environment in Turkey has reached to the level maturity for such an attempt. Every discipline takes place in the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) has produced researches about environment and the journals of FEAS have covered a great majority of research concerned. In Turkey, the most popular platform for publications of the disciplines of FEAS is the journals of the FEAS. In this study, the bibliography of articles concerning environment published in the journals of FEAS has been produced; those articles have been examined quantitatively by the analysis of bibliography and citations; the findings have been classified and interpreted.
