The aim of this article is to examine of the concept of miracle in the context of the laws of nature and investigate it in relation to the concept of design. Miracles are often described as unexpected extraordinary events and violation of the laws of nature. The concept of violation of laws of nature is logically coherent. However, with the Newtonian science view was embraced in the scientific society, miracles in the sacred texts of the theistic religions was also interpreted consistently with the laws of nature.
