Abstract:

The aim of this research is to assess the status of primary schools as professional learning communities. In the framework of the quality research methods, the study of the situation has been used. The data was collected through the interview of 10 teachers chosen by the triple primary school method of sample in the center of the name of the city. In the analysis of data, content analysis and visual analysis techniques have been used. According to the results of the research, the teachers’ opinions that the elements that support the creation of professional learning communities in schools can be addressed under the size of shared vision and values; the obstacles to the creation of professional learning communities can be addressed under the size of the limitation of the shared leadership practices of school managers, the avoidance of the desire of teachers to participate in collective learning activities, the avoidance of the sharing of individual practices and the absence of supporting elements such as time, resources and communication.
