So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract enThe Opinions of the 1st Grade Primary School Teachers On First Reading-Writing Skills of the Immigrant Students. This research was made on the basis of the respective opinions of the 1st Grade Teachers of Primary Education in the densely immigrant-receiving parts of the City of Mersin for determining what the first reading-writing skills of the students therein were in relation with their status on whether they had received pre-school education, or not. Survey model was used in the study for determining the actual condition. Study group of the research is comprised of 54 1st Grade Teachers of Primary Education in the densely immigrant-receiving parts of the City of Mersin. The data, having been received during the research by means of the open-ended questions, were examined, and interpreted by way of content analysis. Content analysis is a systematic analysis of written and verbal materials. The findings obtained in the study can be summarized as follows: ,according to the opinions of the teachers, students who went to pre-school are more successful in reading, writing, and sight reading compared to the student who did not. According to the opinions of the teachers, students with pre-school education in the immigrant-receiving parts of the city have been found more successful in reading-writing in comparison to those lacking pre-school education. Available findings show parallelism with similar previously conducted researches.
