Abstract:

This study was conducted in 2009 with the aim of evaluating the self-respect of athletes who participated in the 4th Eastern and South-Eastern Summer Games, which took place in Elazığ, according to their socio-demographic characteristics, including their perceptions about themselves. For this purpose, from 148 volunteers who wanted to participate in the research, 100 volunteer male volunteers participated and the self-esteem scale (RSES) was applied. The result of the data is the result that there is no meaningful disagreement between the level of self-respect of the Huntballers, in terms of independent variables, the educational status of the Father, the educational status of the Mother, the monthly income of the Family, the status of being or not, and whether there is an attempt to evaluate the holidays. The SPSS 16.0 statistical package program (P<0,05) was used for the assessment of data and the finding of calculated values.
